By accessing or using Ping by Involta ("Ping", "the Service"), operated by Involta AI ("Involta", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.
These terms apply to all users of the Service, including the primary account holder (CEO/administrator) and any team members added to the platform.
2. Description of Service
Ping is an AI-powered business intelligence platform that collects daily updates from your team members and delivers structured morning summaries to business leaders. The Service includes:
- Automated daily check-in messages sent to team members
- AI-generated executive summaries delivered to account administrators
- Signal detection for risks, blockers, and business updates
- Action item tracking and follow-up
Ping operates through secure messaging infrastructure and AI processing. The specific delivery method may vary based on your region and configuration.
3. Account Registration
To use Ping, you must register for an account by providing accurate and complete information including your name, company name, email address, and contact number. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use at hello@involta.ai
- Ensuring all information you provide is accurate and up to date
4. Employee Consent and Opt-In
By adding team members to Ping, you confirm that:
- You have the authority to enrol employees in the Service on behalf of your organisation
- Employees have been informed that they will receive daily check-in messages through Ping
- Employees have provided consent to participate, either explicitly or as part of their employment terms
- You will honour any employee's request to opt out of the Service promptly
Employees may opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in any message or by contacting hello@involta.ai.
5. Subscription and Billing
Ping is offered on a subscription basis. The following billing terms apply:
- Free trial: New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No charges are applied during the trial period.
- Subscription start: Your subscription begins at the end of the trial period or when you select a paid plan, whichever comes first.
- Billing cycle: Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance.
- Automatic renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Price changes: We will notify you at least 30 days in advance of any pricing changes.
- Refunds: Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at hello@involta.ai. Upon cancellation:
- Your account will remain active until the end of the current billing period
- No further charges will be made after cancellation
- Your data will be retained for 90 days after cancellation, after which it will be permanently deleted

7. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Ping only for lawful business purposes. You must not:
- Use the Service to send spam, unsolicited messages, or harassing communications
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or other users' accounts
- Use the Service to collect or process data in violation of applicable privacy laws
- Reverse engineer, copy, or create derivative works based on the Service
- Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our infrastructure
- Misrepresent your identity or organisation when using the Service
- Use the Service to process sensitive personal data including health, financial, or biometric information without appropriate safeguards
8. AI Processing and Accuracy
Ping uses artificial intelligence to analyse team updates and generate business summaries. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated summaries are provided for informational purposes and may not be 100% accurate
- You should not rely solely on Ping summaries for critical business decisions without independent verification
- The quality of summaries depends on the quality and completeness of team member inputs
- We continually work to improve AI accuracy but cannot guarantee perfect results
9. Intellectual Property
All rights in the Ping platform, including software, design, trademarks, and content created by Involta, remain our exclusive property. Your use of the Service does not grant you any ownership rights.
You retain ownership of all data and content you submit to the Service. By using Ping, you grant us a limited licence to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
10. Confidentiality
We treat all business data submitted through Ping as confidential. We will not disclose your business information, team updates, or generated summaries to third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy or as required by law.
11. Service Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We will notify you of planned maintenance where possible. We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Involta's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Involta, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.
14. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
15. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if your use of the Service poses a risk to other users or our infrastructure. We will provide reasonable notice where possible.
16. Governing Law
