1. Who we are
Ping is a product of Involta AI ("Involta", "we", "us", "our"), an employee check-in and management reporting platform that delivers structured morning summaries to business leaders over the messaging channel the customer selects. Our support contact is hello@involta.ai.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: Your name, company name, email address, and contact number when you sign up.
- Employee information: Names, roles, and the messaging identifier for the channel you have chosen — WhatsApp number, Telegram handle, or Ping app account — provided by you during onboarding.
- Check-in responses: Messages sent by your team members in response to daily Pings on the selected channel.
- Usage data: Information about how you interact with Ping, including delivery confirmations and response rates.
- Payment information: Billing details processed securely through Stripe. We do not store card numbers.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver daily Pings to your team on your chosen channel
- Generate and deliver your morning summary
- Process your subscription and manage billing
- Send product updates and support communications
- Improve the accuracy and relevance of generated summaries
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your data or your employees' data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.
4. Messaging channels
Ping delivers team check-ins and executive summaries through the channel the subscribing company selects. Messages sent through the platform are processed solely to generate your daily business summary and are retained only for as long as necessary to maintain service continuity.
- WhatsApp: Messages pass through the WhatsApp Business Platform and are subject to Meta's own terms and privacy practices. Conversation charges are billed directly to the customer's own Meta account at Meta's published rates. Involta does not resell or mark up those charges.
- Telegram: Messages pass through the Telegram Bot API and are subject to Telegram's terms and privacy practices. No messaging charges apply.
- Ping app: Messages travel directly between the app and our servers. No messaging charges apply.
Employees who receive Pings have provided consent through an opt-in process. They may opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in any message.
5. AI processing
Check-in responses are processed by AI models (including Anthropic's Claude) to generate structured summaries. This processing occurs on secure infrastructure. We do not use your business data to train third-party AI models.
6. Data sharing
We share data only with the following categories of service providers, and only to the extent necessary to operate Ping:
- Messaging infrastructure providers: Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform) and Telegram, depending on the channel you select, to deliver and receive team messages securely
- Anthropic: To process check-in responses and generate summaries
- Supabase: Secure database hosting for your account and response data
- Stripe: Payment processing
- Backup delivery provider: Redundant message delivery infrastructure
All service providers are contractually required to handle your data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
7. Data storage and security
Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel only.
We store data in cloud regions selected to balance performance and compliance. Enterprise customers can request data residency in specific regions.
8. Data retention
We retain your account data for the duration of your subscription and for up to 90 days after cancellation, after which it is permanently deleted. Check-in response content is retained for up to 12 months to support historical summaries. You may request earlier deletion at any time.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- The right to access the data we hold about you
- The right to correct inaccurate data
- The right to delete your data
- The right to restrict or object to processing
